Honored to speak at the Kamis Belajar Webinar organized by BKPSDM Kabupaten Tegal, attended by more than 500 participants from diverse backgrounds, including members of the public and civil servants from across Indonesia. The session, titled “Artificial Intelligence: Opportunities and Challenges for Civil Servants”, explored the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in transforming the way public services and government institutions operate. The discussion highlighted both the opportunities and challenges of AI adoption, including its potential to improve productivity, support decision-making, and enhance public services while raising important considerations around digital skills, ethics, and responsible implementation. Participants were encouraged to develop a deeper understanding of AI and continuously strengthen their skills to adapt to the rapidly evolving digital landscape. The session concluded by emphasizing that the future of public service will not only depend on technological advancement, but also on the ability of civil servants to leverage AI responsibly, effectively, and for the benefit of society.
